Kylie Minogue: 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head'

MSN Music presents Kylie Minogue live from Melbourne performing "Can't Get You Out Of My Head"

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Ahh you gotta love it when it snows! Everyone turns into a huge kid, indeed I had to work really hard this morning on the way to work to STOP myself from throwing snowballs at people. Really dreary in central London, but hoping it snows more so I can go and have a slide about on the common later on! Check out the pictures taken this morning of Clapham Common - the camera on my phone is prettys hite, but it was such a bueatiful scene that even on the pics it looks fab!

Happy New Year!

Hope everyone had a splendid Christmas and a fabulous New Year!
I spent the Xmas hols whizzign around South england visiting various family members, worked in-between for 3 days, then went to SImon's parents place in France for New Year with Mark and Nicola. We had a lovely time as ever at the house, its so peaceful there and life twenty times more laid-back than over here! Made our usual evening trip to Hotel de France and had exceptional food as ever. Visited a great bar-tabac on NYE morning and drank cheap red wine with the drunken locals - love the bar-tabac idea, newspapers, cigarettes, sweets and a bar all in one! In the evening Gill and Steve came over as well and we drank the house dry of champers and red wine and had some yummy food as well. Luckily for us hangovers aren't quite so bad over there (its all that drinking evian plus the fresh air that does it!), so we managed to leave in time on NYD to get our flight home :)
Just heard about this site - http://english.ohmynews.com/ - and really like the sound of it. Apparently they employ something like 40,000 "citizen journalists" to sumit stories to the site, every article that is published online is paid $20. Great! Might try and sign up if I get time...
Over and out.

Grim Challenge

Yesterday both Simon and myself ran the Grim Challenge raising money for the NSPCC - its an 8 mile cross country run, going up and down ravines, meaning that (with this really wet wetaher we've been having) I was at times waist deep in water... water so cold that it literally took your breath away! So pleased it's all over though and we both did really well - Simon came in at 1hr6 and me at 1h16 (and both beating an un-named ex-colleague at yahoo as well!). Feeling very very achey today though! Check out our sponsorships at www.justgiving.com/grimchal and a photo of us after the event in my "First weeked of Dec" photo album. Finished the weekend with a huge sunday roast and lots of chrismat drinking (i.e. mulled wine and baileys) while decorating the tree! Lovely!

The mighty rams!

How is that I've been dragged along to Derby Count matches by my o/h for years now, yet the one time Mark Davey turns up they actually play quite well and the game is exciting - ho hum! He is now their lucky mascot it would seem!
its been a good few months since i've seen them live and nice to hear that the DCFC chants are as imaginative as ever - "derby, derby, derby deerrrrrrrrrrrrrrby", "you are my derby, my might derby, you make me happy when skys are grey" plus a few others dissing the QPR manager who used to play for derby (fair enough taking the mick out of his hairdo, but calling him a paedo - bit ott!)

Old beyond my years

How can it be that despite my sprightly age of 29 AND being the youngest in the group, it still takes me the LONGEST to get over a raging hangover or week of partying on the White Isle? I refer to last week's break in Ibiza when I managed really only two large nights out and am still recovering now despite having slept for England since I got back. Just can't keep up anymore - this is rather depressing!  Main thoughts on Ibiza this year - getting more and more commercial, couldn't beleive they were charging 80 Euros to get into Amnesia! Pacha still my favourite club and the addition of the power air pumps thingies is great! Great to see so many people really going for it all at once, couldn't imagine how Wills fitted in when he was there the other week! How odd! WIll post some respectable pics soon.
